Greetings! Welcome to
InfoWizard. I hope you find a good use for the information available here.
There's an incredible amount if you just look for it. Most of the links listed in
the download section refer to specific sections within a search engine, or sites that I
have found which contain a large quantity of useful relevant information. In 1998 I
decided to learn how to create a web site which was capable of interacting with its
visitors. I have been unable to write a simple guestbook like the ones seen in
the Guestbook Examples page using a VB5 control connected to a
server based data base. Any help in doing so would be greatly
appreciated.

- InfoWizardII is now a high-bandwidth homepage.
InfoWizard is the companion
low-bandwidth homepage. The index page determines if the user has created a
user profile and either process the profile or creates one. The new high-bandwith
homepage uses lots of new techniques but is not very browser friendly, and currently
only IE 3.0 or greater work well together. Netscape will run, but is not capable of
rendering mouse rollover Image Maps, such as the one used for the email.
Things to look for are the tri-state mouse rollover buttons, display of button discription
within a label, and display of button discription in the progress bar.

- Select Options uses cookies, javascript, vbscript, and ActiveX
controls to allow
page setup. The user now has a choice of having a personalized greeting, high or
low bandwidth, and the ability to turn on or off the background music. These changes
only work if the navigator supports the page contents.
